Awign has developed a business in which it operates a platform for workers (gig workers) who take on one-off jobs, controlling the progress and quality of projects commissioned by clients to provide high-quality deliverables.
Awign’s unique technology platform, which divides the work of projects contracted by clients and assigns them to gig workers, has been highly acclaimed. Business has grown steadily, with more than 1.5 million gig workers currently registered.
In India, the issue of educational disparity creating a significant disparity in job opportunities and treatment by region has become a social issue. Awign believes that opportunities for gig workers to play an active role contribute to the creation of employment opportunities in rural areas and the resolution of employment disparities by region.
Recognizing the growth of the Indian economy and the high potential of Awign’s business model, Mynavi made an initial investment in August 2022, and has now made Awign a subsidiary.
