Mynavi Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Mynavi”; Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Yoshiaki Tsuchiya) has started providing “Mynavi D2C*2,” an e-commerce (EC) support service utilizing Shopify*1, a commerce platform provided by Shopify Inc.

*1: Shopify is a commerce platform provided by Canada-based e-commerce company Shopify Inc. The platform allows individuals and small retailers to easily open online stores and is used in 175 countries around the world.

*2: D2C stands for “Direct to Consumer,” a sales method in which manufacturers and other business operators sell the products they produce directly to consumers, without intermediary distribution.

 

 

Online purchases of goods have become widely popular among consumers through the coronavirus crisis. As a result, manufacturers have an urgent need to develop their EC business. In particular, there is a growing demand for EC strategies of running one’s own website not only to increase sales, but also to improve brand power and differentiate oneself from competitors in the same industry.

However, operating an EC site in-house requires various preparations and knowledge, such as preparing a server, managing customer information and product inventory information, and establishing logistics and CS systems.

 

Therefore, Mynavi has launched an EC support service, “Mynavi D2C.”

 

Mynavi began operating “kurasso” (https://kurasso.woman.mynavi.jp/), an EC site for household goods, in December 2019, and it is viewed by more than 410,000*3 users per month. We also utilize social media and have a following of over 700,000*4 users. Based on our experience in launching the EC site and developing measures to attract users, we provide support to customers facing similar challenges.

In addition, our support utilizes “Shopify” (https://www.shopify.com/jp), an EC site development and management platform used by more than 1.7 million stores*5 in 175 countries around the world, and is provided in a comprehensive manner in partnership with FeedForce Group Inc. (a company participating in the corporate alliance “App Unity” (https://appunity.jp/)), which provides Shopify services adapted to the domestic environment.
