Use of FSC certificated (forest certification) paper

As part of our sustainable environmental efforts, since 2020, we have transitioned to using FSC certified paper for our “original paper bags,” “comprehensive brochures,” and other materials, in consideration of the environmental conservation of forests.
FSC certification (forest certification) is the certification based on the international standard defined by the Forest Stewardship Council. It verifies that the product is appropriately managed by using the strict management system to evaluate and certify that “management of forests and tree trimming is performed in such a way that the environment and local communities are taken into consideration.”
Recycling activities
We recycle plastic bottle caps, clear files, and other plastic products, and also engage in activities to revitalize local shopping areas. (For details, see [Regional Office Initiatives].)
As for disused plastic folders, we have carried out nationwide recycling activities, which resulted in approximately 4 tons of resources reused in one year, and achieved a recycling rate of 99.77% (actual rate for FY ended September 2025).
