Contribution to the “World Children’s Education Fund”
Since 2005, we have contributed 1% of our net income for the “World Children’s Education Fund.”
The Foundation uses this fund to promote the healthy growth and future employment of children and contribute to poverty alleviation and economic development in each country by providing opportunities for children at home and abroad who cannot receive education. In November 2016, based on the fund, the “General Incorporated Foundation Mynavi World Children’s Education Foundation” was established.
From its establishment until 2021, the Foundation provided educational support for underprivileged children in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, including the construction of school buildings (*) for educational institutions lacking adequate infrastructure and support for Japanese-language education, in cooperation with the local Ministry of Education and local non-commercial organizations
Currently, in Japan, the Foundation provides assistance to junior and senior high school students from families facing economic insecurity. This takes multiple forms that include food assistance (with “Helping Children Out! Mynavi Zaidan Shokuryo Boxes (Foundation Food Boxes)” distributed to a cumulative number of 3,023 individuals), the holding of online courses with part-time work and academic and career tracks as their theme, and the holding of events for children in collaboration with other organizations.
