Mynavi Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Yoshiaki Tsuchiya) has launched ‘Mynavi LIVING’ (https://living.mynavi.jp/), a rental service for individual users that features fully furnished properties with appliances, as of November 4, 2025.

Since October 2019, Mynavi had been operating ‘Mynavi Biz’*, a rental service for corporations that aimed to broaden the potential of employees through housing. To further address challenges such as “concerns about living environments that can only be understood by actually living there” and “career limitations caused by being tied to a work location,” Mynavi has newly launched a service that targets individuals, leveraging the company’s experience and expertise accumulated through many years of rental operations.

◆Background of Service Development

Starting a new life in a rental property often calls for a significant financial burden when moving in that includes security deposits, key money, and agent fees, along with furniture and appliance purchases. Despite paying these substantial fees upfront when starting to live in a new place, many people also face unexpected issues that were not noticed during viewing tours, such as noise and issues with neighbors.

Due to the high costs and complicated procedures that come with moving one’s residence, casually relocating again when problems occur is not an option for many. As a result, some people say that they continue living in their present home despite being dissatisfied and stressed by their current living conditions. In response to this social backdrop, ‘Mynavi LIVING’ has launched a service for individuals embarking on their first time living alone. The service is geared toward individual customers and offer fully furnished property rentals equipped with appliances to enable “trial living,” just like trying on clothes or sampling food.

‘Mynavi LIVING’ is an all-new rental service that enables users to “trial live” in properties for short periods of time. The service offers features such as no security deposit, key money, or agent fees, fully furnished properties equipped with appliances, and contracts available from one month. By actually living on the property for a designated period allows users to assess elements that are often difficult to grasp through a viewing tour alone, such as the neighbors and the surrounding environment, and if users like the property after the “trial living” period, they can choose to stay there for the long term.
The service also features real-time search for vacancies, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and enables users to select their stay duration, book the property, enter contracts, and make payments all in one website. This does away with issues such as properties not being available due to someone else applying first, ensuring smoother use experiences.

Through this new, flexible, and stress-free housing experience that transcends conventional rental contracts, we support users in enriching new lifestyles.

Although there Is a culture of “trying clothes on” and “sampling food,” for some reason, there is no option of “trying out” a home, despite it being a place we spend much of our daily lives. This disparity inspired us to develop ‘Mynavi LIVING,’ which proposes a new perspective of “trial living.”

All elements of this service are provided at one website online, offering everything from vacancy searches to entering contracts with the same ease as booking a hotel room, enabling users to flexibly move to new cities according to their work or lifestyle, with a single bag.

I believe that broadening options of such flexible residences will have a significant impact on the ways people live and work. Especially for those embarking on their first time living alone, such as university first-year students or newly employed graduates, the services reflect our desire to support their lives, not only for their careers but also for all aspects of everyday living at home.
